Working with Neighbours

Working with Neighbours is really all about supporting people to have a LIFE! And life never comes in a neat and tidy package. It isn't always easy. There is no rule book or map, especially when the world is not designed to include you ... but when things click it can be really rewarding.

So we are looking for people who can handle the messiness that life can bring. We are looking for people who:

  • are up for the challenge of helping people find a place in a world that hasn't made room for them.
  • are strong enough to let the people they support be in charge
  • know how to listen.
  • love connecting with people, and make it their business to know who is who in the community.

And ... we're looking for people who have a good sense of humor, because LIFE is such that sometimes you just have to laugh!

If you think this sounds like you, let us know. There are always new opportunities opening and it would be good to know that you are out there and interested.
