Fiscal Agents

A Fiscal Agent is a person or agency that takes care of the accounting and bookeeping needs that go along with running a personal support system.

The government that provides the money for individual supports, requires that all of the money is accounted for. Mostly that means that the money is spent on the the things that you have proposed to spend on. You are not allowed to spend more than you receive.

As "Fiscal Agents", we help keep track of the financial part of running a business. We make sure that you can show and tell the government how and where you have spent the money that you have received.

When you are running a personal support system, you are really running a business. You have income and expenses. You have to setup a contract for money that you will receive from the government. You have to keep track of how you spend the money that you receive.

We use our experience at setting up an individual budget accounting system for the people we serve, to help other people who have received money from the government to run a personal support system.
